Let me explain..
1 moon = 4 weeks
1 week = 7 days
Therefore, 5 moons = 20 weeks.
Forgive me..but I don't follow the Gregorian calendar. I mean, I use it because..well, I kind of have to..everyone else functions in it; but I don't live it. If I did, my baby's 5th month would be on November 3rd, as she was born on June 3rd. But I don't follow the Gregorian calendar.
When I didn't know any better, I was just like every one else..I followed what is a mechanistic and seemingly sensible measurement of time. But since I am not one to blindly believe what I am told just because they told me so, I learned there are alternative calendar systems that exist (as they have been around for several hundred years before Christianity was ever thought into existence). There is just no big-shot "pope" to back the alternative up, no mass of blind followers to make it a strong enough opposition to the status quo.
I'm sorry..but the vanity of Julius and Augustus is so blatant during the months of July and August, that it throws off October (a month whose prefix Octo, refers to the number 8), the tenth month in a Gregorian year.
The Gregorian Calendar, along with all other calendars the Romans decreed into existence, was created for taxation purposes. It was adopted to make sure that Easter would fall under a certain date. Bla Bla Bla. The point is it just doesn't work for me anymore, and what does..I came across here - www.lawoftime.org
The literature is quite a bit of a read, not everyone will have the patience or interest to read it. But not everyone has a mind open enough to decide for itself.
" who owns your time owns your mind. change your time and you change your mind. change your mind and you change your world "
Very cool!
